Here for a limited time in London

Summer in London is a magical time. The Big Smoke comes to life during everyone’s favourite season and with it, brings a variety of quirky and cool things to do. As we near autumn, London’s summer scene is winding down but there are still a few weeks left to enjoy the capital’s coolest seasonal pop ups.

If you haven’t made the most of London’s summer venues, now’s the perfect time. Read on for our list of favourite spots here for a limited time and pop along before the city waves goodbye to summer for another year.

Secret Garden

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Fleet Street in the courtyard at our Apex Temple Court Hotel, Secret Garden is the latest venture from the team at Lazy Ballerinas and is popping up for a limited time this summer. We’re serving up exciting wines of the world accompanied by a seasonal selection of small plates in an ultra-Instagrammable setting (if we do say so ourselves).

Have you paid Secret Garden a visit yet? Head over to the Lazy Ballerinas Facebook and Instagram to find out what’s happening just outside the wine bar and how we’re making the most of summer whilst it lasts.

Neverland

The popular Neverland pop up at Fulham Beach, just by the Thames, is West London’s quirkiest summer pop up. You don’t need to fly to Ibiza to enjoy white sand beaches anymore; just take the tube to Putney Bridge and you’ll be met by beach huts, cabanas and a white sand beach so dreamy you’ll swear you’re in Mauritius…

Come October, Fulham Beach transforms into a twinkling Winterland but you’ve still got a month or so left to enjoy Neverland 2019. If you’re a fan of boozy brunches and beach yoga, check out their Facebook page for similar events they’re hosting in coming weeks.

Coppa Club

The signature igloos at Coppa Club, Tower Bridge on the Thames have had a summer makeover and have been transformed into cool surfer shacks to complete the bar’s quirky Surfers Paradise.  With magnificent views of London, it’s no surprise these cool shacks book out far in advance.

Make the most of the this cool spot whilst it’s still here and pop along this summer. Order one of Coppa Club’s signature cocktails and soak up the summery surroundings – it’ll feel just like you’re in Hawaii!

BRGR+BUBBLES

BRGR+BUBBLES at our Apex Temple Court Hotel is the place to be if you’re looking for great food and drinks in a relaxed, al fresco setting. We’ve been tucking into our Chef’s delicious BBQ treats all summer long and washing down the burgers and skewers with some bubbles, courtesy of Lanson. We’ve also been treated to the summer’s most hotly anticipated sporting events on our big screen to accompany the food and fizz.

This chill hang out is situated just around the corner from our elegant wine bar pop up, Secret Garden. Visit us this summer whilst we’re still here and see what all the fuss is about.

Roof Fest London

John Lewis have reopened the rooftop garden at their Oxford Street store for another summer and it’s definitely one to tick off the list. Roof Fest is one of the largest rooftop gardens in London and this year, is home to a range of fun goings-on. Think outdoor film screenings, live DJs, festival makeup, contortionists and other quirky live performers, all accompanied by delicious Filipino-inspired food and exciting cocktails.

This boho paradise is tucked away high above the busy Oxford Street and is only open until 29 September 2019, so make sure you pop along whilst it’s still there!

If you join us at Secret Garden or BRGR+BUBBLES this summer, make sure you share your pics with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
